Audio Systems: rear speaker install, ford taurus, rear speakers

I have a 98 ford taurus and am trying to install new speakers. I was able to get the front door panel off but am having trouble with the rear door panel. I can see the rear speakers, and cany pry the panel off a few inches, but not enough to work with. Do you knbow how to remove this panel?

The panel may also be held in place with a few screws that are sometimes hard to see. If you do not see any screws the panel may just pull away from the door assembly. I don't have a book on this vehicle so I cannot tell you for sure how to take off the panels. You can try contacting your local Ford dealer and ask the service dept how to remove the door panels.
