Audio Systems: cd changer and radio removal, dodge dakota sxt, 2002 dodge dakota sxt

i have a 2002 dodge dakota sxt and i want to install my sony 10 disc changer, where would be the best location for the changer and how do you remove the dash to access the head unit? it seems much more difficult in this truck then it was in my gmc jimmy. thanks.

On this vehicle you will find a few hidden screws that need to be taken out first. After the screws are removed the trim around the stereo will snap/pull away from the dash. If you are not sure about pulling on the trim you may want to call your local Dodge dealer and ask someone in the service dept how to remove the trim.
