Audio Systems: installing radio from 92 camry into 87 4-runner, pig tails, radio wiring

i intend to install an am/fm cassette radio from a 92 camry into a 87 4-runner. i know the wiring for the camry radio is different than the 4-runner's radio wiring.  would it be a matter of matching up the wiring of camry radio to the 4-runner's wiring in order to make this swap possible?

You will need to ask your local toyota dealer for a print out of the stereo wiring for both vehicles. You will need the wiring pigtail connector from the 92 camry and the connector adapter that plugs onto the factory stereo connector in the 87 4-runner. Once you have the pig tails identified for power and speakers all you will need to do is to connect together the correct wires.
