Audio Systems: Car stereo, peugeot partner, code numbers

Have had a new and original car stereo fitted when i enter the security code it accepts it but bleeps every 30 seconds and then it switches itself off after 2 minutes. Then you have to enter the code again and so it goes on !!! please help. Peugeot Partner V-reg van

Make sure that you are following the complete code entering instructions. On some stereos when you enter the code numbers you will have to press and hold a certain button for a few seconds to lock in/accept the code. If you are following the correct procedure and the stereo is still acting up you may want to check to see if the memory lead/wire has 12 volts on it.
