Audio Systems: Nissan maxima car stereo, sony head unit, stereo head unit

HOWS IT GOING?

quick question, i have a bose car stereo in my nissan maxima and i want to take the head unit out and replace it with a sony xplod 52watts x 4 head unit and leave the bose speakers with amps in it. Now can i do that? will i blow the speakers with the sony head unit? i dont know what the rating the speakers are, wound you have a rough idea? and ive had a look behind the bose headunit and cant find the rear amp power leads where is it?
