Audio Systems: Delco CD Changer in a Ford, delco electronics, ford taurus

Question
I have a Delco Electronics 12cd changer part# 16199553 which came out of my previous GM car.  I would like to put it in my 2003 Ford Taurus which only has AM/FM Cass.  The stereo in the Ford does have a button for aux/CD input so I assume it would work but I am not sure if there is an adapter for the Delco to work on the Ford.  Can you help me?  I have the original adapter for the GM vehicle but figured it would not work.  Thanks in advance for your input.

Thanks,

Answer
Richard,
About the only way to make this Delco changer work in your Ford Taurus is to have a stereo that has changer controls on it and to puchase the adapter  to interface the two units together. Possibly the easiest thing to do would be to sell the Delco changer and purchase a RF type changer and install it in the trunk area. Pioneer, kenwood and others make these type of changers, this changers will have a small wired remote control and the audio from the changer will be sent to the existing stereo by the antenna wire going into the factory stereo.
