Audio Systems: Replacing Chrysler Infinity Speakers, infinity speakers, plymouth voyager

Question
I'm replacing the stock Chrysler Infinity speakers in my wife's van with some aftermarket units.  My problem is that I don't know which of the six wires in the plug to attached to the two post on the aftermarket speakers.  The OEM speakers have the amp attached to the speaker.  The units are numbered on the label with 4685610A and also show the numbers 5794 and 36670.  This is in a 1997 Plymouth Voyager van.

Answer
Mark,
If I read what you are saying correct you would like to attach the new speakers to the wires comming from the stereo! If you are replacing the factory speakers you should connect the new speakers to the wires that were attached to the original speakers that come out of the amp. You can verifiy the correct impedence of the new speakers to the factory speakers by measuring the speakers with an ohm meter and comparing the readings to see if they are about the same. You can always put in new speakers that measure the same or higher ohm reading than the factory speaker but not a lower impedence speaker/s
