Audio Systems: CD player problem on 2003 Toyota Camry LE, toyota camry, drive gears

Good evening. I recently purchased a 2003 Toyota Camry LE from a Toyota dealership. When I play CDs, they are sticking in the middle of a song. The CD player does not lose power but simply stops for various amounts of time. Can you please provide me guidance on how to fix this? Thank you.

It's possible that the lens is dirty or some dirt is in the drive gears that is causing the laser unit to bind up. One other problem that causes this problem is a weak laser and it won't be able to track the CD as it gets close to the middle tracks.
