Audio Systems: Kenwood 3025 installation in Nissan 300ZX 1990, factory amps, nissan 300zx

I need to know what the P-CONT labeled wire from my receiver is for? It is a blue/white wire. I installed the CD receiver as per instructions but I get no sound. The CD receiver appears to be working OK. I tried all the suggested cures in the instructions. It appears to me that the relay is not telling the speaker amps to turn on.

The P-Cont lead is the power control wire that will turn on the external amp. Are you using the adapter for connecting the new stereo to the factory harness. If you vehicle has external speaker amps you will need the adapter connector that interfaces an after market stereo to the factory amps.
