Audio Systems: Alpine Model 7287 entering code, triumph tr7, memory buttons

I just picked up a 1976 Triumph TR7 and found this Alpine under the drivers seat.  I believe it might be the original radio.  The cassette carrage was jammed in the down position with no cassette in it.  I freed the carrage and got the Tape-In microswitch to clear.  Now the display is asking for the code.  The number 0010 is written in pen on the warning label but I have NO idea how to enter it even if it IS the security code.  Any ideas?  Thank you, Newt

To enter the code you will use the station memory buttons. press the memory button 1 until 0 is displayed and the button two for 0 button 3 for 1 and lastly button 4 until 0 is displayed. next press and hold the power on button or display button until the stero comes on.
