Audio Systems: Delco 12 CD changer adapt to Ford, ford stereo, ford mustang

I have a 12 Disc Delco CD changer that is radio contolled. The Delco changer is 4 years old and I want to install it in a 2000 Ford Mustang. Is it possible to adapt the GM Delco unit to the Ford vechicle?

It's possible if someone makes an interface adapter to go between the Ford stereo and the Delco CD changer. An adapter if available may work providing the Ford stereo is a CD controller stereo with a jack on the rear to plug in a CD changer. The way that I would have to determine if they would be compatable is to have all the model numbers of the Delco stereo and changer along with the model of the Ford stereo. This info would help me find out the communication protocalls of each to see if they can TALK to each other. The problem here is that the time that this would take would be costly.
