Audio Systems: Aftermarket for Blazer, car stereos, steering wheel

Hi there. I am looking to replace my 99 Blazer's stock Delco AM/FM/CD unit with an aftermarket unit. However, the steering wheel controls and the external cassette player are stopping me. Any idea if there is a manufacturer that supports these options?

Many of the factory car stereos are made by Pioneer, Alpine, Sony and Hitachi to name a few. I will give you some suggestions about what stereos will work with the steering wheel controls. On many you will need an adapter that will interface the new stereo to the steering wheel controls. As for the factory tape player the same holds true, an adapter box will allow you to keep the factory tape where it is installed.
