Audio Systems: 2001 Honda Accord in dash changer will not eject CDs., antenna cable, factory stereo

Question
My nephew owns a 2001 Honda Accord with a factory 6 disc in dash cd receiver.  He was having error messages, and contacted the dealership, and they told him to reset the receiver.  Well, the error messages went away, but now, even though he has 6 discs in the receiver, it does not recognize them, and therefore won't eject the cd's. How can we get the cd's out of the changer.  The dealership will not help him anymore, besides saying they can replace it with a new one for 600 dollars.  I think if we could get the cd's out, I will try to talk him in to buying an after market stereo.
Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
Johny,
You may want to call a stereo repair shop that repairs CD players and ask them to remove the CD's. If your son likes the look of the stereo, you may want to mention that an external CD changer can be installed in the trunk and the audio can be sent into the factory stereo by the antenna cable/wire. These units use a small remote control unit to control the CD changer.
