Audio Systems: GMC DENALI Bose CD Changer, gmc denali, bose system

Question
Hey there Tom.  I just bought a 1999 GMC Denali that has a Bose system with tape/1 disk cd/6 disc changer.  I have an apple ipod that I want to use in the truck until I put a proper system into it in the spring.  Does the Bose factory deck have regular RCA input connectors that I can disconnect and connect the ipod to. Or does it all run through some sort of DIN plug.  Thank you in advance.  Mike

Answer
Mike,
Please give me the complete model number of the stereo so I can look up the data on the stereo. As for the stereo, many do have a din plug but since you have a 6 disc changer installed that jack is most likely used for the CD changer. You could always use a tape deck adapter cassette and play the ipod through the tape deck, or install an RF modulator unit and play the ipod through the FM stereo by sending the ipod output through an RF modulator and into the stereo antenna wire.
