Audio Systems: No Power to Stereo, jvc cd player, volume button

I had a JVC cd player (KD-S590) installed professionally last year in my 96 Saturn.  Recently the volume button got stuck in the UP position and the volume soared and the stereo shut off (cd stuck in unit).  It will not reset and I checked all the fuses.  Any suggestions?

Try disconnecting the battery for about 5 minutes and then reconnect it to see if this will reset the stereo so you can eject the CD. Have you pulled the stereo out of the dash to check the two inline fuses for the stereo?
