Audio Systems: installed a CD Player, now turn signal flasher wont work., signal flasher, nissan maxima

Question
I have just recently tried installing a new CD player in my 1996 Nissan Maxima. In the middle of installation, at some point, my turn signal quit working. My lights work just fine. The lights on the gages work, just not the lights for the turn signal. There is not even a clicking noise or anything. Would it have anything to do with the wiring of the CD player, or would the problem be as simple as replacing a blown flasher? If so, where would I locate a blown flasher? Thanks

It indeed sounds like the relay (flasher) for the turn signals is having troubles.
Sorry, but I do not know the exact location of the relays on that vehicle.
Generally, they are found under the dash on the drivers' side.


Please let me know if you cannot find the relay or need more assistance.
