Audio Systems: CD Stuck inside Player in Car, rubber rollers, 1999 dodge intrepid

Question
Have a 1999 Dodge Intrepid with Radio/Single CD Player/3 way equalizer.  The other day, a cd went in and is now stuck.  The radio does not show a cd is inserted.  When I hit eject, I can hear the motor trying to eject but nothing.  Obviously a cd cannot be inserted inside either.  Any suggestions?

I sometimes see this problem and it is due in many cases to a warped CD. Also the rubber rollers that move the CD's in and out of the player may be slippery and they cannot grab hold of the CD. Try using a Qtip dampened with rubbing alcohol and clean the rubber rollers. If this doesn't help the load assembly may need to be repaired.
