Audio Systems: Stereo Removal/Repair, 2002 toyota camry, toyota camry

Question
This following question is two-fold.

I have a 2002 Toyota Camry Le Sedan with the original factory (JBL) CD/Cassette Radio.  Recently, when turning my car off then immediately turning the key to the Auxillery position, my CD player stopped working.  I was listening to it at the time.  My player indicates that a disc is in, but will not play or eject the disc.  However, my Radio and Cassette still work fine.  In your opinion, what do you think needs repaired?

I have never had any problems removing any of my other car radios.  However, I'm having problems removing the face-plate.  It appears that the face-plate would just pop out, but I can only get the top to pop out, the bottom remains attached.  Is there hidden screws or special tools that I need to get the face-plate and the radio out?  I'm hoping that once I get the face-plate off, the radio will be easy to get out.

I have never gone this long without a CD player.  Your prompt response would be appreciated.  Thank you for your time and knowledge.

Answer
JW,
If your vehicle has an ash tray or a center console you may find screws that are hidden there. If you cannot figure it out you should contact your local dealer and ask them how to remove the trim. As for the CD player, a shorted sensor may be the cause of the problem.
