Audio Systems: 95 Honda Civic........, honda civic ex, wiring connections

ok....I have a 2 door 1995 Honda Civic Ex. I recently purchased this car from a friend, and now I'm trying to put in a stereo. I have all the speaker wires hooked up right, and the ground wire. There's two wires left...red and yellow. Can you please let me know what wires I should be hooking those up to? I've tried a number of combinations, but most end with me blowing the fuse or getting pissed and not wanting to listen to music again. Please help me like music again. -Kevin

I don't have the wiring diagram for your vehicle so I cannot tell you the wiring connections. You may want to try using a 12 volt test lamp and with the ignition off, look for a wire that has 12 volts on it and connect this wire to the yellow wire from the stereo. Next, look for a wire that goes to 12 volts with the key turned to ACC and connect that wire to the red wire from the stereo.
