Audio Systems: Installing car speakers, rear speakers, chrysler 300m

Question
I own a 2002 Chrysler 300M and want to have new rear speakers installed for a better bass sound.  I've purchased a pair of Infinity 693.5i 3-way 6x9 rear speakers, but am having second thoughts about having them installed.  I was told that because my car's radio and speakers have a 2 ohm capacity and the new speakers have a 4 ohm capacity, I won't get a good sound. Someone else told me that my car's present speakers are built to play together, so that if I replace one of them, the rest won't play well. I was also told an amplifier was all I needed.  Please let me know what your opinion is on this situation.  I'm totally confused at this point...

Thanks!

Answer
Angela,
I have installed many speakers in all types of vehicles without problems!. You shouldn't have any problems installing the pair of speakers as long as the impedence (ohms)of the new speakers are the same or slightly higher than the original speakers. Most speakers are matched to a vehicles interior, unless you are a real audiophile (HiFi sound nut), you won't notice any difference! except that the three ways will give you a little more control of the bass output.
