Question -
I have a 94 acura legend with a bose stereo.  the cd changer is mounted in the trunk.  The cd's load and spin but no sound from the speakers.  The power antenna motor is broken so that's not plugged into the power connector.  any ideas?
Answer -
Stu,
If the CD's are loading and spinning you will have to see if the laser is tracking the CD. With the CD spinning, do you see any time display from the CD section on the head unit counting the time to go for the CD? If you do, the problem may be in the audio switching circuits.

Answer
Stu,
The problem may be due to a faulty electronic switch IC in the head unit or in the audio output circuits in the changer unit. Double check all of the connections between the head unit and the CD changer.
