Ok, now I've got a bigger problem, since I checked the fuse, the stereo doesn't work altogether. It rights "Code" and the Anti-theft light is blinking ;(

Ok, I've checked the fuse box and didn't find anything that refers to the radio. Would the fuse be in the back of the radio?... if so, how do I remove the radio?

I've got the Acura / Matsushita Car Stereo on that web site...

thank you Cody

thank you!

Mathieu,

ok i was in a hurry yesterday and just speed through the question, i missed the part where the unit functions but only the radio section .. now with that said i'm sorry i overlooked that , the problem shouldnt be in the fuse since the unit gets power... most likly the problem lays inside the unit itself , mostlikly a burned out circuit, resistor, diode ect.. components that make up the CD player function, now you have a few options , one is you can pull the unit out and take it around to some local small electronic repair shops and have someone take a look inside the unit, this usually is just as expensive *even if components can be replaced* than buying an aftermarket unit, so the other step is a replacement , you can go with a standard factory replacement but you will PAY for it, feel free to call your local dealer and get a price , but i would suggest buying an aftermarket unit from , radio shack , circuit city , even wal-mart then pick up a dash install kit and wire harness adapter from radio shack and do the install yourself , its very easy a few hours for a begininer and your enjoying your new cd player .. if you have any other questions please let me know

thanks

Answer
Mathieu,

you might have triggered the theftloc function on your unit, go to your owners manual and read up on the feature as every car has a differnt input sequence, you should have to enter a code something like 123 ect..if the code listed in the owners manual which is a preset doenst work that means someone has altered the code which means you will have to call Acura and verify some information so you can get a generic code to restart the radio ..

thanks
