Audio Systems: 1997 Honda Accord CD Player, honda factory, single cd player

When I insert a cd i get an error code P-EO.It is a single cd player Honda factory system. Is this something I can repair myself or will it require a tech to do it. If so how much will it cost. Thank you.

The error code is a fault code for the laser pickup assembly. You will need to take your CD stereo to a qualified service center. Of course, the cost of repair will depend on whether the CD laser unit needs replacement.
