Audio Systems: car audio, car stereo equipment, friendly place

Where can I go to learn educate myself about car stereo equipment? I mean I have no idea wich subs are the best or what ohms or channels are. Is there somewhere on the net that can help me decide what to buy or a site that can educate me?

Crutchfield.com is the best user friendly place , their site has tons of information about stereo installs/equipment and you can call their tech or sales number and they will explain anything you need them to and answer any questions you have ... its a great place to go... now if your wanting to learn installs and the trade of stereo installing/designing i would suggest looking for some classes or schools in your local area that teach stereo systems... now if you have some idea of what kind of sound system you want and how much you have to spend i will be glad to help you find what you need and give you the basics of doing the installs.. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
