So, What is your favorite subwoofer?  And, in terms of bang for the buck, who comes out on top?  Is there a really good subwoofer (with plenty of earth shaking low end) for under $200?

I don't really have a "favorite" subwoofer. I've found many that supply adequate--even earthsaking--bass, but not at the $200 level. The best value level sub I've heard is the PSB Alpha SubZero. It provides the cleanest sound at the lowest price, $329.
