i have a problem with a renault cd navigation car radio model number 225y596/62s vdo car communication when inserting disc will not pick up also on ejecting of disc sometimes scratching it. would this be down to laser assy if so do you now to a supplier of laser assys thankyou

The problem may only be that the laser lense is dirty. have you tried using a CD lense cleaner. The problem of scratching the CD's may be related to why the CD won't play and not a dirty lense. When it comes to these stereos systems for Renault, you will have to contact a dealer for repair and or replacement info.  If you give me the complete number off the laser pick up I can tell you if any replacements may be available.
