Audio Systems: left channel goes out on car stereo, stock gm, tuner control

Hello.

The left channel in my reciever goes out/ sounds fuzzy distorted. If I play with the volume knob. Move it up and down etc it helps sometimes. I have used cleaner on it..sprayed it in the volume and it did help for awhile but it comes back within a few weeks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 91 camaro stock gm delco stereo...with cassette player.

On many of these early 90's delco stereos I find defective solder connections on the pins of the audio output IC's. If your are spraying a tuner control cleaner into the volume control, make sure that it is silcon free! or you will only make the problem worst.
