Audio Systems: CDPEO error on 96 Acura 2.5TL, kai kai, cd pickup

Question
Recently, I just bought 1996 Acura 2.5TL, the CD player that come with the car is does not read music CD.  When I put CD in the CD slot, it says "CDPEO".  Is there a way to fix this problem.

Please give me more details about the CD problem. How far does the CD go into the front slot before the error message shows up? if the CD does go in does the CD try to play? The CDPEO error may indicate that the lense in the CD pickup unit isn't reading the data on the CD due to dirt on the lense. You may want to try using a CD cleaner or have someone do a manual cleaning of the laser lense.
