peogeot 206 original radio blaupunkt ti low separate display will not power up but light on power button at front of radio when pressing on supplies power to 5v reg mounted at side of radio and seems to have most power across the pcb but no signal to display in car.

Please give me the year and model of your stereo. This stereo may have a vacuum display tube in it. This display uses a DC to DC convertor circuit to step up the voltage to the display to light it up. With the model number of the stereo I will be able to find out just what kind of display that your stereo has in it.
