Answer
Adrian,

first thing first you need a good head unit to build from... make sure the unit has atleast 2 sets of RCA Preouts.. now after this amps install very easy 3 major connections *12volt constant which comes from the battery and passes through an inline fuse and capacitor(depending on your wattage), a 12volt accessory or ignition which comes from your head units harness adapter, 12volt ground which you want within 3 feet of your amp mounted to a good shiney bare metal piece on the body* .. this powers your amp, but you need sound that is were the preouts i talked about earlier come in , you will use a set of RCA patch cables that will plug into the back of your headunit and then plug into your amp... now that covers your amp, subwoofers *which need to be purchased in function to your amp so that for example if your subs are rated for 200 watts RMS @ 4ohms so your amps should push 200 watts or under @ 4ohms for everything to work well*.. you need a subwoofer enclosure then the subwoofer and your speaker cables a simple 2 wire hook up on each end and your ready for sound... i just skimmed over the basics if you need more just drop another email, hope this helps you out if you need anything else just let me know
