Audio Systems: put in a mp3 player into my cd changer, rf modulator, sony c

Question
I had a 10-Disc Sony C.D. changer model no. CDX-454RF put into the middle compartment next to my drivers seat in my 99 taurus, so i can change cds in a flash, but i am looking to purchase an ipod mp3 player and i was wondering how I could install an mp3 player into my cd changer, if not, directly into my car. I cant get a head unit because the way the radio unit is made in my taurus, so i was wondering if it can be done. If so, how? I had the cd changer installed so that it runs through my rf modulator and plays through my radio on fm 88.3, just a little more info.

Answer
Justin,

since your head unit is stock that knocks out the chance *as far as i know* for mending an IPOD from there .. you might give sony a call to see if that changer has aux inputs that would work with an IPOD before you run out and buy a new head unit.. after that said if the changer cannot mount up to the pod check around for a head unit that is IPOD compatable this will allow you to have your MP3's and also your CD changer plus more power and better sound from the new unit .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks
