speakers, I would like to do all of this in as little as possilbe
without killing the quality, any help would be great thanks.

Answer
Jared,

ok , now i recommend replaceing your factory speakers instead of installing a set of say 6x9's ect.. because the factory speakers are a main cause of poor quality sound, you can pick up 2 sets of speakers for around 40-60 dollars per set since most trucks have 4 speakers you should only need 2 sets , the brand i recommend is sony xplod, they make high quality speakers for a very good price and nothing is sacreficed, the same goes for the cd player i recommend sony xplod, a good sony cd player with MP3 will be right under 200 dollars with plenty of power 52x4 , to push crystal clear sound through your new replacement speakers.. now that we have those covered , lets move to amp and subwoofer, if you have the room and money i would recommend 2 subs 10in but one will work just as good, i recommend sony for the subs as well a high quality 10 inch sony subwoofer runs aroun 40-70 dollars depending on the wattage, now for the amplifier power acctusik is the way to go they make great amps with all the high dollar functions but for EXCELLENT low prices, the trick to getting a good amp is first you have to have your subwoofers picked out and pay attention to the subwoofers OHM-RMS WATT rating say 350 watts RMS @ 4 ohms will be something like you will see .. now after you have that you need to find a 2 channel amp that provides that ohm and RMS wattage rating per channel, now if your only going with one sub and if its multi ohm capable check to see if you can run the amp in bridge mode for more power.. its all about compatibility, now also you will need a 1.0 Farad Capacitor about 50 bucks to mount with your amp this is a protection plus performance helper it keeps your system from draining your charging system... ok now i have only laid a blueprint and left you to decide on how much you want to spend and how much power you want to make, www.etronics.com is a great site where i buy almost all of my electronics, go there surf around read the specs on the subs/amps pick and choose what you need.. now if you want i can look somethings up for you just let me know

thanks
