Audio Systems: CD player eject button not working, car cd players, rubber rollers

Question
I have a Nissan Sentra 2000, and Compact Disc Digital Audio CY068 CD player.
The CD player worked fine for these 4 years, until this morning. This morning before I left home, I changed a CD. About 30 minutes later during the commute I tried to change the CD again, but the eject button did not work. Everything else works fine (all the other buttons), but I am unable to eject the CD. It just does nothing, as if I didn't press the button. Button doesn't seem to be stuck or anything, it clicks fine.
After I arrived to my destination I turned the car off and came back 30 minutes later, but the button is still not working.
The car manual says this in one part, "During cold weather or rainy days, the player may malfunction due to the humidity."
Now, we had a flooding rain (4" in one night) last night and my car was out in the parking lot, and then it rained the whole morning while I was driving and at the time the eject button stop working.
If this is what the problem is, how do I go about fixing it?

Answer
Nikola,
The problem may be due to a slipping gear or the rubber rollers that grab the CD to pull it out. I find on many of these in car CD players that the rubber rollers will not be able to grab the CD and push it out. You can try cleaning the rubber rollers with rubbing alcohol so they can get a grip on the CD.
