Audio Systems: radio wont play, vox amp, amp power

Question
A few years ago I purchased a 1992 Honda Civic that came with a Caustic radio/cassette and an Audio Vox amp.  The radio stopped playing a few weeks ago.  There's power to the radio because the display still shows the radio station and there's power to the amp because the amp power light lights up.  The fuse seems okay and antennae is connected.  The wires to the speakers are attached.  Did the radio die?  What else can I check?

Answer
Mike,
If the stereo has line level outputs, check them with a set of small head phones to see if sound is coming out of them. If you have sound when tuned to a stereo station you should check the amp and/or the speakers. If you do not have sound at the line level outputs, the stereo may be in the mute condition.
