Audio Systems: factory Cd Player, gm unit, gmc van

Question
Have 97 Gmc van. with a factory cd player.that
shows Error each time i insert a Music CD-r,disk
ejects them out will not play them. I have tried
several recorded CD-r disks they all will not play
I have bought a disk cleaner kit throughly clean
each disk. these same Cd-r disks have played just
fine before. Also Regular Name artists CD play
just fine.Whats wrong?

 very common alot of factory units will not play CD-R burnt discs, the only way you can get past this is to buy an aftermarket unit, most all mid grade units in the 100 dollar + range can play CD-R and CD-RW discs, now some GM unit will play burned discs, i have a factory Monsoon unit that has no trouble and also the upgraded sound unit with the 400 watt option seems to play them pretty well .. hope this helps you out sorry to deliever the bad news .. but if you need anything else let me know
