Audio Systems: Stereo Wiring, ford explorer sport, factory stereo

Question
I am installing a JVC stereo.  I removed the factory stereo and after clipping the adapters to install the new adapter, I am not sure which wire goes where.  I have identified the batt wire and the power wire.  However I am unsure about all of the other wires.  I have a 98 ford explorer sport.  Any idea what I can do or can you identify what wires are what?

 ok you made the first big mistake which is cut the factory harness plug off .. you really never want to do this because it can be a headache to get straightend out, plus all it takes is 8 bucks to buy an adapter harness that will wire to your new units harness color for color so you dont have the guess and then it snaps right into the factory plug.. but no need to fear www.streetdreams.com/wires should have a color code diagram to help you get going .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
