Audio Systems: cd/tape installation, size blazer, radio shack

Question
I have a 1994 Chev full size blazer with a tape player and equalizer in the dash. Can I install a combination tape deck/CD player in the same location? If so, what brand is good and will it unplug and replug to same connections? If not what would be next best install? The tape player is inoperable at his time. I think it has a broken belt. Thanks.

 yes i believe the slot is a one din which is perfect for most all aftermarket units, all you will need is ofcourse your new cd player unit, and a wire harness adapter kit which can be picked up at your local radio shack for around 10 dollars .. the adapter will wire into your new units harness , then simply plug back into your factory plug so you can retain your factory plug.. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
