Audio Systems: Legacy amp, advanced auto parts, legacy amp

Question
Hi again, thanks for the help with my legacy amp, it turns out I blew 2 channels and left 2 channels fine. Now I have another problem, I got into my car today and tried to start it, it barely kicked over. I drove it around trying to charge up the battery, I pulled over and turned it off then back on, it kicked over perfectly. Then I drove around with my stereo on and tried the same thing, but this time the car acted like it didnt want to start. For some reason the stereo is killing my battery. Oh, and I have a switch for my stereo because I have the stock cd head, I'm not for sure if that could help but I thought I would add it. Is there anything I can do? Thanks,

Answer
Danen,

no problem .. if you have your amp switched make sure your using a direct line from your battery to the switch through an inline fuse and to the RMS / turn on - on your amp .. make sure the wire and stuff is all in good shape to .. it sounds like you just might have a weak battery , stop by advanced auto parts or napa , auto zone ect.. and let them do a charging system test its free and they can check your battery and your alternator to see if either is weak or going bad .. i think that is where you will find the problem .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks
