Audio Systems: Bose CK 188 for Nissan Pathfinder, nissan pathfinder, moderate range

Hi! I am having an error message "err-2" and I can not eject any of the 6 disc cd's. The radio is working but it seems to me the CD player is jammed.  I was wondering if you had any advice as this is the 3rd time this has happened in the past 2 years and everytime I take it in they charge me $300 to repair it.  Thanks!

 noway around it , there is no quick fix for a jammed cd player or changer, you need special tools and manuals to be able to open the unit up and remove the jam without causing damage, the 300 dollar price tag seems rather steep so i would shop around to some local shops to see if they can give you a better deal, now you didnt specify if this was a factory changer or aftermarket but eitherway i would call either *customer service for Nissan* or the manufactor of your aftermarket unit , tell them the problem and the error number and maybe they can shed some new light on the problem they are the experts on the specifics... 3 times in 2 years isnt that bad of a ratio seems in the normal to moderate range.. but since you have been out several dollars on the repairs if the phone call doenst give any new ideas i would pay a local install shop to install a new unit to remedy the problem and get you a new warranty so if you do have any problems you are covered.. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
