Question
Hello
I just bought a pioneer deh-p33 car cd player. The unit gets power, accessories and all that opperate but they is no sound coming from the speakers. I just recently rewired the speaker wires. The speakers I have are rated for 20 to 25 watts maximum and the opperating range for the unit is 25 watts at the lowest and 50 watts at the highest. Any help would be greatly apprecciated.

Answer
Andrew,

i dont understand what you mean by rewiring but here is some troubleshooting .. remove one of your speakers and have some speaker wire handy, also remove your head unit *leave plugged in* but unwire the speaker connections any set of + and - will do and wire the speaker directly to the wiring on the back of the head unit to see if you get sound, if you do you need to rewire the speakers to the correct locations, if you dont get any sound more than likly your speaker is blown but test the rest of your speakers along with the head unit , to see if its the speakers of your unit , use a speaker that you know works to test the unit, if the speaker you know works doenst produce sound with your unit then its dead get a new one , but also test your speakers on a system that works to make sure they dont need a replacement... hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks
