Audio Systems: Blowing fuses on amp, filter capacitor, reverse polarity

Question
I have a 4 channel 400 amp Pioneer amp that has all of a sudden blown it's 30amp in-line fuse next to the battery terminal. Thank goodness it is doing it's job of protecting my system. I haven't added or changed anything to the system. I replaced the fuse and it blow it immediately after starting the engine. I did this twice. Both times blowing the fuse. Am I getting grounded somewhere? I can't figure it out. I'm thinking about taking it to Circuit City who installed the system since I have a lifetime warranty on the install. I thought if it was simple I could do myself. Thanks

Answer
Hello Jeff,
One of three things may be the cause of the 30amp fuse blowing. 1-the reverse polarity protect diode is shorted out. 2-the power convertor transistors may be shorted out. 3-one or more of the filter capacitor capacitors could be shorted out.
