I want to know how to install a cd player into a 1992 Chevy 2500 Truck.

 ok first pick out your head unit here is a site that has great prices i buy all of my electronics there www.etronics.com after you find the one you want you need 2 things a dash install kit and a wire harness adapter *about 8-15 bucks each* now the dash install kit will help you mount the new unit in your dash aswell as tell you exactly how to remove the old unit and install the new unit.. the adapter will wire into your new units harness color for color then plug back into the stock plug in your dash so DO NOT cut the factory plug off it unsnaps from th eback of the old unit .. i recommend going to radio shack for both of those because you can get the right one you need just ask a saleperson .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
