Audio Systems: CD Player Inquiry, kenwood kdc, car speakers

Question
I had an older car with a Kenwood KDC-S3009 which had one rca pre-out and I had it set up where the bass was all the way down and I'd still got a ton of bass from my box but I updated to the Kenwood KDC-MP625 and I'm not sure how to get it back that way. What's happening now is when I lower the bass on the new deck it affects the subs as well. To get bass from my box I'm having to put the bass level higher and I don't want that cuz I'm afraid I'll blow out my regular car speakers. Do you know why this is happening? Thanks.

Answer
Hello Marcos,
On some stereos you can adjust the output level of the base by using the display as an indicator. However on the new stero that you have you cannot adjust the output level of the bass only. Your only option is to install a seperate base amp that you can adjust to equalize the sound level from all speakers.
