please help thank you

Answer
Jeff,

no stock units dont have preouts and a stock amplified system makes it even harder than a plain system .. and those are really tricky.. before i go into the steps i want to give some info about putting subs and amps to a factory head unit you will lose sound quality and biggest of all ease of the install but it can be done.. here is a list of some things you will need before you even begin .. haynes repair manual or wire schematics for your audio and amplifier system (STOCK) .. you will need a Converter box * this can be purchased at radio shack 10-20 dollars tell them you need a converter box to take hi level inputs and turn them into RCA preouts* and of course all the normal amplifier accessories like power/ground cables speaker wire ect.. now the schematics are the most important thing you will use because you need these to trace down your RMS/12volt ignition wire and to trace down the speaker wires for your converter box.. once you have these traced down its not that hard just simply wiring into the converter box pluging up your amp's connections and wiring in your subs and you should be good to go .. this is just a basic run down i can go into more details and a little more specifics on what you will need just let me know if you need anything else

thanks
