Audio Systems: remote turn on lead, kicker solar baric, inline fuse

Question
HI I had a quick question I would like to ask.  I have 93 mazda 626 with a factory tape player with tuner and a separate factory cd player.  I just bought a bazzoka p250 amp which was a open box but in new condition, I think it was a display they said it was never used.  Anyways I'm connecting it through speaker level inputs and needed seom help figuring out which wire was the turn on lead from my factory harness and if I could use it because I think my power antanae is already connected to it(not quite sure) and from something I read from a crutchfield book it said that if you connect a amp to the wire when its already connected to the power antanae it might burn something up which I don't want to do, and it also said that you could ad a realay to make sure you don't have the problem.  And one more thing I have a older round 10" kicker solar baric that I was going to hook up to the amp, and I was going to build a box, do you have any idea how big I should make the box for better performance.  and any other input you could give on the install would be great.  Thanks so much
Joe

Answer
Joe,

ok you will need to get a wire schematic for your specific car i have a website here you can look at they should have what you need http://www.streetdreams.com/wires/
once you have the wire you can splice into, i have never heard of using a relay i always use an inline fuse to prevent any feedback damaging the amp, about the subwoofer getonline to kickers website and see if they have any spec info on the cubic feet recommendations for the sub if you dont see it on the site give tech support a call or drop them an email, this will be very important to the performance of the sub... i also have some pictures that might help your wire in if you want its www.geocities.com/evilparadise02/stereo.html hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks
