Audio Systems: Stereo Installation, ford car dealer, ford contour

Question
I recently bought a cd player (rampage acd83) off of my friend and he is supposed to install it for me but hes taking to long so i am lookin in to doing it my self. I have a 95 ford contour. We have the factory stereo out and now theres no stereo. One of my other friends was working on it and cut off the clip for the speakers so those are going to have to get hard wired in. He also cut 2 of the wires from another clip. an orange one w/black stripe and a thin black one with green stripe, but left the other 4 on. The speaker wires in the car are colored different than any we have seen so those we are going to have to guess. I was wondering how I should go about installing it. There is also a blown fuse that i am going to ahve to fix before i can check if the cd player is working, i have no power inside my car. how do i replace that? I also can not find the ground. If you could explain how to install it that would be great, or a link of some place that shows me how. thanks

Answer
Hello kayla,
Your best bet is to stop by your local Ford car dealer and ask them for a print out of the harness for the stereo. With this you shouldn't have a problem matching up the power, ground and speakers wires from the vehicle harness to your new stereo.
