Audio Systems: amplifier???, clipping problem, input gain

I have a 760 watt Sony Explode running 2 12" Volfenhaug subs. Not sure of the model of the amp. My problem is that the amp keeps on clipping on me. How can I fix that problem?

Hello Todd,
The main reason that I find most often that causes the clipping problem is with the input gain being turned up too high or that the audio input is too strong. You may also want to check your power and ground wires for proper size. If the power wires are too small in diameter the amp will clip at higher volume levels.
