Danny,

go back to your fuse block pull out each and every fuse one at a time check Every Fuse not just radio ect.. fuses .. replace any blows .. also pull the unit out make sure the harness is seated good and secure in the back of the unit.. also give a quick inspection of the wires to make sure everything is normal and insulated good with no wires rubbing together .. take a test light and probe for power in the harness both with the key on and with it off .. if you get 2 sources of juice one with key off and 2 with it on .. probe for a ground .. if its ok.. here comes a hard fact if none of this pans out.. you might as well expect to buy a new unit since the unit has some age on it you should be lucky it lasted this long factory units dont usually last over 7 or 8 years .. i would pick up a cheap aftermarket unit or one that fits what you want along with a dash install kit and a wire harness adapter ... hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks

Answer
Danny ,

none specific that i can think of there might be a fuse in the back of the radio but usually unlikly in stock/factory units ... if you had a wire diagram for the sound system * you can get one from a haynes repair * and check to see if there is any other possibility ...

thanks
