Audio Systems: cassette adapter, random intervals, honda cr v

Question
i have an issue with my factory car stereo i have a tape adapter for listening to xm radio in my car and for some reason the cassete keeps flipping sides then ejects at random intervals sometimes i hear xm for an hr (with intermittent flips) sometimes it just ejects HELP!!! i love my xm and i dont want to buy an aftermarket deck (honda cr-v 2000 se)

  humm .. i know most tape adapters have adjustments to tailor to differnt brand/size/spec of tape players try adjusting the adapter a little at a time to see if you get any better results also alot of times with adapters is the gears will stick and cause the deck to switch sides so make sure they roll freely with no hang ups .. if none of this pans out give the tech support for the adapter a call maybe its something you and i dont know about that can fix it ... hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know
