Audio Systems: security codes in car radios, car radios, manual model

Question
The battery in my car recently got flattened and as a result the radio no longer works. I do know the security code, i just don't know how to input it. it's complicated by the fact that as i didn't realise the battery had been emptied i accidently gave the radio a random code by changing station and i can't clear this from the screen. have tried disconnecting battery again to blank it but this did not work.

ideas?:-)

don't know what the radio is but the car is a Peugout 309 Trio diesel manual model. UK J reg.
thanks
emma

Answer
Hello Emma,
Your best bet is to contact your local Peugout dealer for instructios on entering the security code. you will need to be careful because if you enter the wrong codes 3 times the radio will lock up and will no longer do anything. the only way to correct this problem would be to remove the radio and send it to a radio service shop to be reprogrammed.
